Retroviral has taken top overall honours as Africa Index Champion in our inaugural Africa Consultancy Performance Index. This announcement marks the culmination of a research exercise that benchmarked and recognised the industry's most impactful and innovative PR firms across the region.
Firms were evaluated across five key performance areas: Business Performance (25%) | Creative Impact & Client Outcomes (25%) | Innovation & Thought Leadership (20%) | Talent & Culture (20%) | Industry Leadership (10%). Top performers were shortlisted in three categories — with Index Champions reflecting the highest scores in each particular category.
The rankings and scorecards, revealed below, follow our analysis of trends derived from the Index, which found that the continent's strongest PR consultancies are pairing sustained commercial performance with more sophisticated advisory, measurement and AI capabilities.
