AI CEO avatars are inevitable
Corporate reputation experts, say hi to simulacra.
Question: What do the Terminator, Pinocchio, Count Dracula, Frankenstein’s monster, an elf, a zombie from The Last Of Us, the aliens in Star Wars and Generative AI all have in common?
Answer: Apart from having great potential to appear together in a movie franchise, they can all be described as simulacra of humans.
In other words, they’re human-like, but not quite human. They can physically or visually resemble humans to a great or lesser extent. We can interact with them. With the possible exception of zombies, we can form close bonds with them (zombies, of course, love forming close bonds with humans).
