Edelman posts 4% revenue decline in 2025

Edelman has reported a third consecutive year of declining revenue, down 4% to $950m in 2025, on a constant currency basis.

The fee income fall at the world's biggest PR firm comes after global revenue declined 4.9% in 2024 and 3.7% in 2023, prior to which Edelman had become the world's first billion-dollar communications consultancy in 2022.

The firm's 2025 performance was hampered by difficult trading conditions in the US, Richard Edelman told Earned First, where fee income dropped 8.1% to $541m. Outside the US, Edelman was down approximately 1.5% — with EMEA ($243m) effectively flat thanks to growth in the Middle East, and Asia-Pacific declining 1.7% to $87m after growth in the second half of the year.
