The earned imperative 🎪
PRAXIS Asia-Pacific hosted an industry grappling with identity issues, C-suite credibility and AI deployment as Asian brands find their voice globally.
The theme of PRAXIS Asia-Pacific this year was 'The Earned Imperative'. In its simplest terms, the message was that the communications industry must remember that trust is never an entitlement but always earned. This applies whether facing the C-suite, the media, or everyday people. And that earning and securing trust is becoming more difficult given the ever-present hype and confusion around AI, animosity between nations, and heightened public scepticism.
Discussions suggested that while the industry is self-aware and realistic about its challenges, it needs to muster greater self-confidence to address them decisively.
