Ashbury adds senior talent in Asia and Middle East
This week's newsletter features Ashbury's hires of Jane Morgan and Saima Farooqi, while also examining Burson's potential sale, and much more.
Ashbury has appointed Jane Morgan and Saima Farooqi to senior roles in Singapore and the UAE, respectively, as double-digit growth propels the independent financial comms firm's investment across Asia and the Middle East.
Morgan, who left FTI Consulting last year, becomes the firm's first chief client officer and will also oversee Singapore advisory, while ex-JP Morgan exec Farooqi is named head of UAE advisory, Earned First can reveal. The moves, along with the firm's continued investment in analytics, reflect Ashbury founder Adam Harper's belief that the boutique model can outcompete global networks in specialised markets.
