Reputation Capital Council convenes corporate affairs leaders in Davos

More than 70 senior leaders from global corporate affairs, communications, marketing and sustainability functions have come together to form the Reputation Capital Council. The Council has been established to support a groundbreaking research programme that examines how organisations build, manage and deploy reputation as a strategic asset, and to add weight to the industry’s voice on reputation management amid a period of rapid change for the communications and broader marketing industries.

The Council supports the ongoing global Reputation Capital research, which has been led by Sandpiper Research & Insights over the past five years and is convened in partnership with Earned First. The inaugural study with the Council explores how reputation is being measured, governed and operationalised amid the rise of AI, growing geopolitical uncertainty, regulatory pressure, and stakeholder scrutiny. The Council’s role is to provide senior-level perspective, challenge assumptions and help ensure the research reflects how reputation is being managed inside large, complex organisations.

Members are drawn from major companies across multiple regions and sectors, operating at group or regional leadership level with direct responsibility for reputation, trust and stakeholder relationships. Collectively, they bring experience from highly scrutinised environments, including regulated industries and markets facing heightened political, social and economic volatility.

The full group can be viewed here. Reputation Capital Council members contribute to research consultations, provide feedback on emerging findings and help contextualise the constraints, trade-offs and governance realities shaping reputation management today.

Findings from the latest phase of the Reputation Capital study will be unveiled on 20 January 2026 in Davos, during the World Economic Forum, on a panel featuring speakers from Page, TCS, Unilever and Workday. The launch event will be facilitated by Sandpiper Research & Insights, Earned First and Page Society, hosted by Council member TCS at their Davos lounge. You can request an invite here.
